Our Beer

Storing and Serving

Our beer is unfiltered and naturally conditioned. All bottle beer is Vegan Friendly.

It should be stored upright at a cool (not cold) temperature and served at 11-14°C.

To get a great, clear looking beer pour it gently into a glass reserving the last drops in the bottle, which contain the yeast from the brewing process. (This is perfectly drinkable and contains extra flavour, but will cloud the beer – a matter of personal preference)

CITRINE

A refreshing golden ale with a delicate citrus aroma and flavour balanced by light bittering.

Subtle and refined, a session beer, great throughout the year, but especially nice served cooler on long summer evenings.

Great with any type of party nibble, delicate white fish or traditional fish and chips.

Strength: 5.2 %ABV

Malts: Maris Otter, Pilsner

Hops: Magnum, Centennial, Cascade

AMBER

A traditional pale ale with balanced malty biscuit flavours and a touch of fruitiness – reminiscent of marmalade on toast.

Full bodied and rounded with a dry finish and the lightest of bittering. A perfect beer all year round.

Great with any type of party nibble, roast meat, pie or mushroom based delicacy.

Strength: 4.4 % ABV

Malts: Maris Otter, Crystal 60, Flaked Barley, Wheat Malt

Hops: Challenger, Bobek

JASPER

A dark ale with complex flavours from the roasted barley and chocolate malt used to craft the beer.

The rich flavour belies the low alcohol content. Balanced and refreshing.

Try with heavier meat dishes such as casseroles and stews. Also great with grilled, barbequed or smoked meats.

Strength: 4.0 % ABV

Malts: Maris Otter, Roasted Barley, Chocolate Malt, Flaked Barley

Hops: East Kent Goldings

JET

A rich imperial stout. Caramel and dark fruit aromas give way to velvety coffee and chocolate flavours. A well rounded bittering lightens and lifts the finish .

One of the few alcoholic drinks that truly works well with dark chocolate..

Strength: 9.5% ABV

Malts: Maris Otter, Roasted Barley, Chocolate Malt, Crystal, Special B

Hops: Challenger, East Kent Goldings, Magnum

Pearl

A traditional Bavarian Wheat Beer. Full in flavour with subtle hints of cloves and spiced fruit. It has a high level of carbonation to complement the creamy mouth feel and give a zesty fresh finish. This ale is traditionally hazy so don’t forget to give the bottom of the bottle a swirl before adding to the glass.

Available in bottle only.

Tiger’s Eye

A deep gold IPA with rich aromas and flavours of tropical fruits. A juicy mouthful bursting with good cheer
